Meet our speaker and chair

Dr Mara Pasquamaria Squicciarini () is based in the Department of Economics at Bocconi University and is currently a visiting academic at Harvard. Her research interests include economic history, economic growth and development, and applied macroeconomics.

Patrick Wallis is Professor of Economic History at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. His research explores the economic, social and medical history of Britain from the 16th to 18th century.
