Dr Ivelise Fortim holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2013), a bachelor's degree in Psychology (1997), and a master's degree in Social Sciences (2003) from the same institution. Currently, she is a professor at the Faculty of Human and Health Sciences at PUC-SP, teaching undergraduate courses in Psychology and Digital Games. She is a specialist in Jungian psychology through COGEAE-PUC-SP and in Career Counseling from Sedes Sapientiae. She is the coordinator of Janus – Laboratory of Psychology and Information and Communication Technology Studies. She is a partner at Homo Ludens Innovation and Knowledge and the president of the Institute Criança em Jogo. Senior Visiting Senior Fellow at the Department of Media and Communication, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.
Her research focuses primarily on video games, digital game addiction, gender issues in digital games; Brazilian game industry; Japanese, Chinese, and Korean pop culture in Brazil; online psychological psicotherapy; analytical psychology, and mental health and social media.
